Male pattern baldness?

I haven’t got a history of it in my family and i don’t have any big hairlines or anything, but im still worried that i might get it when im older (im 18). Is there any way to help prevent it or to get it treated?

Even though there is not history of it in your family, someone in your family could hold the gene for it. Just because something doesn’t “run” in your family does not mean you can’t get something. You could be a carrier for thousands of different things and never know it.

NOTE: The girl below me is wrong. Just because you have a widow’s peak does not mean you aren’t a carrier for the MPB gene. My friend had a widow’s peak and guess what? He also has MPB.
