How can people lose 50 to 100 hairs a day and not have thinning hair?
I know that people have about 100,000 hairs but the hair grows only 1 / 2 inch per month. People with thicker hair lose less hair than others? It is normal to lose less than 50 hairs a day? (I have curiosity)
It is not really a problem of loss of 50 to 100 hairs a day when they deem it to be replaced by new growth. The hair on the head does not live than the average of 7 years and then will fall and be replaced. Think 50 and 100 hairs lost per day, spread over the entire head is not visible (it does not happen in one place) when lost quite realize that new growth is long enough to cover it.
