What happened to stem cell research on hair growth?

I recall as long ago as 3 years and as little as a year ago there was talk of a “break through” that could lead to a “cure” for male pattern baldness and could help burn victims grow hair..

It was said that it could be on the market in a matter of years.. So was it a failure or a means to attract stock buyers?

If it worked and there was a way to make money at it you would have heard by now. Patience.
