Male-pattern baldness will I?

I heard that a bald man usually comes from the mother's side of the family. My dad mom and brother both have a head full of hair, while my father and his father are bald. Anyone know what could be my fate? My hair is thick enough, but curly hair My father used to be curly, but thin. Any ideas? anyone else?
