A finasteride/ propecia question?
im 32 and i just started taking finasteride for male baldness , my doctor said minoxidil was not that good, a pile of crap and to try this.
i want to know, would i be okay just taking this medication for male hair baldness or do i need to use this medication in combination with other hair loss medications ?
im on disability and only really receive a limited income so i cannot really afford anything else .
i was just wanting to know would the propecia, finasteride be enough ?
I’m neither male nor bald but I’ll try to say something useful. I wouldn’t worry too much about going bald. Some guys younger than you have lost they’re hair and they still manage to attract the ladies. It’s chic to shave the mop of anyway…unless you don’t have the bone structure to pull that particular look off. Finasteride should give you results since it blocks DHT action on hair follicles. DHT causes male pattern baldness and is a potent derivative of testosterone. Minoxidil has been shown to work for some people but not everyone. Stick with the finasteride. My dad uses it for blood pressure and he has a full head of hair even though he’s old. If you don’t see results in 4 -5 months, try some minoxidil. Chemist direct sells it for cheap.
