Testosterone I go bald?
I am a transgender male hormone testosterone interested in starting therapy. I have read that may lead to male pattern baldness. I fear that the men's side my mother, my family when I started treatment, I start losing my hair. However, men of my father's side tend to become bald until his sixties. Do you think if I started therapy, I'm losing my hair? If you do, do you have any suggestions to help prevent this disease?
I agree with Kristie and Ghost Wolf. If this happens, but there are things you can do. For example, a DHT (What causes more hair loss) as a blocker finasteride (Propecia no) can prevent further hair loss. After starting the transition is something you can talk to your endocrinologist.
