is this true about facial hair??

is it true that guys who have really thick facial hair are more likely to have male pattern baldness?? I heard that this is because both of these traits are caused by too much testosterone. Anyone know if this is b.s.? it seems true but I’m not sure.
I said ‘really thick’ facial hair. As in, more than normal. Not just the regular facial hair that most guys have.
