How do I prevent baldness or Hair loss?

Well I’m 18 and I have a clear spot on my head, I’m starting to lose my hair. So my question is, is there any thing I can use to prevent hair loss?? I really don’t want to lose my hair and It’s bothering me cause its starting to become clear up there, so what do I use to prevent hair loss or baldness?? your help will be appreciated.
