Hair Loss Thyroid
Has anyone experienced total hair loss and take medication to help the thyroid?
I'm trying to find a way to push hair back and wondered if the thyroid medication will help. I do not want to have the last word on the scalp more or take steroids because they stop working once the treatment has ended.
You will lose your hair if your thyroid is underactive and drugs because it will stop, but medicine will not help you if your thyroid is normal. In fact, if you do too much thyroid drugs may lose more hair. Ask your thyroid test (TSH) and if their normal medication, will not help.
