medical reasons for hair loss in young women?
I am a 22 year old woman. When I am stressed I tend to loose more hair than normal. Over the last couple of months I have noticed that my hair loss is getting worse. My stress level has gone down. Genetically, hair loss is rare in my family so I am looking for any possible medical conditions that could be making this problem worse. I am not on any medication and as far as I know my hormone levels are normal. I have not noticed any other symptoms, but maybe I am missing something? Any ideas? Should I go to a doctor?
