Hair Loss Keratin
I need info on Keratin hair straighting?
Im planning on getting it soon but I want to know does it really work. My hair is thick but not that bad. I straighten it and it looks fine but it tends to get frizzy and wavy after awhile. It also looks like i have lots of volume too. Does it last long? Cuz my thick hair gets washed only twice a week to keep it healthy. So my question are
How long? Do you recommend it? n Do u experience hair loss afterwards?
I had a Global Keratin treatment about 6 weeks ago. I have curly, fine hair. After the first wash (you can’t wash for 4 days after wards) i noticed some hair loss. This has continued and my hair is coming out in fist fulls. It is coming out at the root as you can see the follicle at the end of it. Went back to the Salon yesterday. He denied it could be from the treatment as there are “no harsh chemicals in it”. I informed him that there was indeed formaldehyde in the treatment. He was unaware of this! He has been in touch with the company and is waiting to hear back from them. It is soul destroying! I can’t do anything but watch my long hair slowing fall out. My advise would be, unless you can’t stand living with your curly hair, don’t do it. Just continue to straighten it yourself. Otherwise, you might not have any hair to worry about
