Hair Loss In Children Symptoms
has anyone heard, has, or know of anyone with cushings syndrome?
I have it, i wanted to know if anyne else did?
symptoms:
IN A CHILD:
Extreme weight gain
Growth retardation
Missed periods – in teenage girls
Excess hair growth (body and facial)
Reddish-blue streaks on the skin
High blood pressure
Tiredness
Muscle weakness
Very early or late puberty
IN AN ADULT:
Extreme weight gain
Rounded face
Increased neck fat
Excess hair growth
High blood pressure
Sleep disturbances
High blood sugar
Diabetes-like symptoms
Hyperadrenocorticism
Bruising easily
Skin problems (thin, fragile, poor healing, stomach stretch mark)
Mood changes
Weak muscles
Backaches
Weak bones
Irregular or absent menstrual periods
Reduced male fertility
Deepening voice
Loss of scalp hair
Hirsutism
Cushings is hard to be diagnosis with since most doctors dont believe in it. Many people have it and go undiagnosised and end up dying over obeisty. I want to know if anyone has it and want people to know t it.
Medical Doctors SHOULD believe in it and know about it since it’s a classic endocrinology diagnosis!
I’ve had patients with it, but sadly many Doctors just look at them and say “you’re fat” without thinking further. Even a blood test can often be done wrong because they don’t care or don’t believe in it like you say (which just points towards poor education and medical school standards).
