Hair Loss Genetic Test
Eeek! Has anyone ever had hair like this before?
For over a month now my hair has been coming out more than usual. It’s not coming out in clumps or anything. I was worried and went to the doctors. I had a blood test and I was SLIGHTLY low in iron. I already knew that iron deficiency can cause hair loss. I haven’t got a deficiency; I’m just slightly low on the stuff, so can this be the cause of my hair coming out? It’s worrying because you’re meant to loose 100 hairs a day; I loose that in a morning. Earlier I ran my fingers through my hair and there was about 50 strands there in my hand. It’s strange because my hair still looks pretty thick and there’s no bald patches. Has this happened to anyone before?
PS.. No one in my family has ever suffered from hair thinning or hair loss, so I don’t think it’s genetic, and I’m only 15 so it’s not just me getting old.
I know it’s not split ends. I thought it could be that so I’ve been going the the hairdressers more regularly. When my hair comes out, it’s the whole hair, including the root.
i had the same thing happen to me last year, and i’m 29. it was a combination of three things: a cold, dry winter; iron deficiency; and stress. are you freaking out about anything lately, letting it consume your thoughts? that could be it. i started taking a daily vitamin and doing yoga to calm the stress, and it stopped. good luck
