Hair Loss From Medication
Many red spots on my cat’s head and hair loss.?
I’m not sure if this is related but my cat was diagnose with Panleukopenia about a week and a half ago. The vet placed him on IV due to the fact that his tongue was bleeding and couldn’t eat anything. He was also given ampicillin and metocloromide along with the IV. Since then he has gotten better and has just started to have food.
Only till recently did I noticed many red spots on his head. I also noticed this spot where there is no hair and 2 spots there. I have some idea what it might be but not really sure. Seeing how it’s christmas I can’t go to the vet. Can someone shed some light on this? Would it be some type of flea/mite thing? Or just side effects from the medications?
