Hair Loss Cats Belly

Please please help! I’m scared to death!?

I bought a 7 week old persian kitten from a breeder without papers yesterday, and I now notice there are two patches of hair loss on his belly close to the front limbs. The patches are not circular, a bit large, and there is not redness yet. He has not received his first shot and I don’t know if it’s ringworms? Fleas? Other serious diseases that can be transmitted to human and other cats? Please help!

well, this is as good of a time to get her to the vet since you should always take a new animal to the vet with in 7 days of getting it to make sure it is healthy. it doesn’t sound like this breeder is a very good one if they let you take a 7 week old kitten from it’s mother….poor thing.

could be ringworm, fleas, over grooming due to stress. get it to the vet today.
