Female Hair Loss Symptoms

Why am I losing my hair at 19?
I am a 19 year old female and for the past 6 months my hair has been gradually falling out. It’s now the worst it’s ever been; thinning hair all over the scalp and it seems to fall out and not grow back.
I have been having bizarre symptoms for the past year and a half. Doctors have tested for all thyroid problems and hormone problems and nothings come up. However, tests aside, they think it could be PCOS.
I’ve also been in a job for the past year that I haven’t enjoyed. I never feel too stressed, but unhappy, frustrated and bored out of my mind. My last day at this job is February 29th. Afterwards I’m taking a break.
Could the rapid hair loss be due to stress and unhappiness at work? I believe I may have psychosomatic illness as well.
I just want my hair back :[
Is there anything more I can do besides wait and see if it grows again?
Are you a vegetarian or do you eat very little red meat? I had the same problem. Now I take iron supplements and it really helped alot. It took about a month for my hair to stop falling out and grow back again
