Cats Baldness

My cat has bald patches on her sholder blade!?
My cat is an indoor, outdoor cat. Today she came in with a big bald patch on her shoulder blade, and a few smaller ones around it. There were no signs of the baldness yesterday. There is no irritation on her skin. She seems very healthy, playful, and loveable and she is eating fine, she’s just bald! I have another cat and he doesn’t have any bald patches on him. What on earth could this be????
Being how she is aloud outside, it could be a number of things.
It sounds like it is from a fight with another cat or she was stuck in something.
She could also have picked up a skin infection. (mange, ringworm, etc.)
Is she spayed? If not, I strongly recommend you get her fixed. If she goes into heat while outside, she is likely to be attacked by toms in the area.
Least common of all but possible, she could be over grooming.
I suggest you monitor the spot closely and if you notice it itching, becomes red, or spreads–take her to a vet. Ringworm, as well as sarcoptic mange is contagious to both your other cat and you. The sooner you treat it, the less likely it will spread.
