Baldness Trait

Is the rate of male pattern baldness and the age at which it begins an inherited trait?
the majority of this is genetically determined and inherited from both parents. You cannot just look at your fathers to determine this, it can be passed down from your mothers side too.
The rate at which it occurs is not just genetically determined. Other factors like your lifestyle and your diet can influence it too.
Smoking for example has been shown in recent studies to increase the rate of male pattern baldness and there are many studies to sugest living off junk food and high fat diets contribute as well.
