Hereditary baldness ?
I’m only 17 and my hair is becoming thinner. My older brother who is 25 has his hair very thing at the moment.
My father is bald. Does that mean that will inherit his genes. How can you prevent this
Actually you inherit baldness from your mother, as its on the X chromosome (you get a Y from your dad, and the X from your mother). So if your mother’s father is bald, you have a chance of going bald as well.
No real way to prevent it. Although some medication does show promise, such as rogaine, and propecia.
