Baldness Comes From Mother’s Side
Baldness does not actually come from the mother's side?
I remember learning in my genetics class. Often it is the female carrier certain genetic traits. Baldness is perhaps one of them. Your mother does not have to be bald to be the bearer of the gene that determines the baldness. Men outnumber susceptible genetic abnormalities that women in British Columbia, which have only one X chromosome (the other is the Y chromosome, which makes a man). Women have two X chromosomes X Therefore, for women to inherit a genetic abnormality she must inherit two defective genes in the two X chromosomes (one of his mother, his father).
